Jharkhand Government appears to be scared of CBI: Babulal Marandi

Jharkhand Government appears to be scared of CBI: Babulal Marandi

Ranchi, Nov 6 (UNI) Leader of legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi on Friday slammed

the state government for its decision to withdraw the general consent given to CBI to probe

cases in the state.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here he said that on one side the government talks about getting all corruption cases probed on the other hand it withdraws the

consent given to the CBI which shows something was wrong in the government.

He said the manner in which the decision has been taken in a hurry indicates that the state

government is scared therefore it was adopting all measures to hide and protect itself.

Babulal alleged that Amit Aggarwal who is close confidant of Hemant Soren is acting like

a shadow Chief Minister.

He said that some time back a raid was done at his home in Kolkata from where a diary

has been found containing various names.

Babulal said that since Hemant Soren does not want the CBI to reach his doors therefore

such acts have been done.

He said that the government should be ready for all kinds of probe.

Mr Marandi said that the state government should reconsider its decision as stopping any

agency will not bring transparency but Congress, JMM and RJD are not able to dodge away

their past.

Commenting over the present law and order situation in the state he said that maoists

incidents have increased and the presence of the ultras has also reached in the cities.

He said apart from BJP which is in opposition, sister-in-law of the Chief Minister and Jama

MLA Sita Soren is talking about the illegal crusher units and rampant road and sand mining.
