Health alert on uncontrollable pollution in Delhi: Get out of the house only when necessary, advise to keep the windows and doors closed

Safar, the air standards body of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, has issued a warning after pollution in the capital reached critical condition on Thursday. It is said that people should leave the houses only when necessary. Also, doctors of various hospitals in Delhi have also issued a health alert for the health of the people.

On Thursday, the PM10 level was recorded at around 560 microgram cubic meters at eight in the morning. Earlier it was recorded 637 in November, 15 years ago. PM10 levels are considered safe if less than 100 grams per cubic meter. PM10 is very subtle. Their diameter is less than 10 micrometers.

They easily enter the body and give rise to health-related problems. PM 2.5 has also been recorded 336. It is considered safe if it is less than 60 grams per cubic meter. PM 2.5 easily enters the blood vessels. It also gives rise to various types of diseases.

According to Safar, people have been advised to leave the house only when necessary. Keep all the windows and doors of the houses closed and the morning and evening walks should be closed for some time. Dr. Karan Madan of the Pulmonary Department of AIIMS said that in view of the current situation of pollution in the capital, health emergency situations have arisen.

So pregnant women, the elderly, and children especially do not leave. Even normal people should leave the house with a mask only when it is very important. In particular, asthma patients have been advised not to opt-out.

Dr. Sandeep Mishra of the AIIMS heart disease department said that pollution has a direct effect on the heart. Where there is more pollution, its effect on their heart has been seen more. Therefore, heart patients have also been advised to be vigilant. He advised not to get out even if there is a very important job. Regular intake of medicines is also said to be necessary.
