PNC Infratech bags a water supply project in Uttar Pradesh

This is the second project secured by the Company in drinking water supply sector.

PNC Infratech Limited in Joint Venture with SPML Infra Limited has been declared as the L1 (lowest) bidder for “Survey, Design, Preparation of DPR, Construction, Commissioning and O&M for 10 years of Rural Water Supply Project in 979 villages in Devipatan Division of Uttar Pradesh”. PNC Infratech’s share in the JV is 95%.

State Water Supply & Sanitation Mission, Namami Gange & Rural Water Supply Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh is the Authority for the Project. Three firms participated in the bidding and price bids were opened on Thursday, 5 th November, 2020 in Lucknow, with PNC JV’s bid being the lowest (L1). PNC JV quoted 0.19% below (Zero Point One Nine percent) the Schedule of Rates stipulated in Notice inviting RFP.

Approximate value of this EPC Project is Rs979cr and exact value will be known at the time of agreement, after preparation and approval of DPR for the Project. The Project is to be constructed and put on trial in 21 months upon signing of the agreement and operated for 10 years, post commissioning. This is the second project secured by the Company in drinking water supply sector.
