Additional DCP Crime Sulesh Chaudhary said that the Special Unit Team of the Commissionerate had received information that the fake mawa was coming from Alwar to be supplied in Jaipur after being stuffed in a pickup. It was also learned that the consignment of this cheese will be delivered to local traders in the market in the Malviya Nagar area here.
The police team then followed up on the information received from the informer and chased the pickup on the way. It contained 800 fake mawa. The police seized and informed the team of the Food Department. According to the additional DCP, the driver is being questioned. Where was this Mawa to be supplied and where was it brought from Alwar?
