The statement read that Vijay came to know of the rumour through news channels, which signals that he wasn't personally intimated by anyone about this.
Chennai: Actor 'Thalapathy' Vijay has broken silence within a few hours of the news that his father and veteran director SA Chandrasekhar was about to register a political party under the star's name.
First to refute the news was PR Riaz K Ahmed, followed by Vijay's personal manager Jagadish Palanisami.
He thereon clarified that even in future if his father floats the party, he wouldn't be bound by it and requested his fans and Vijay Makkal Iyakkam members not to associate themselves with that party.
The 'Bigil' star warned of severe actions against those who use his images in the so-called 'All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam.'
