Head coach Dan Malesela rued his side's inability to grab all three points as TS Galaxy missed a penalty in a goalless draw against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Wednesday night.
Chiefs were fortunate to come away with a point from the encounter as they were let off the hook when Wayde Lekay missed a first-half penalty.
Galaxy looked the better of the two sides and created more goal-scoring chances while also enjoying 54% of possession.
"We need to be patient with these guys as we just assembled a new squad," Malesela told SuperSport TV post-match.
"If it's doing better than we expected then all good but missing penalties like we did I can't accept that, I don't understand.
Malesela added that he still remained positive for the season ahead despite being disappointed with Wednesday night's missed opportunity against a title favourite.
"We're building and we'll continue to build so it's good, I'm just disappointed that we didn't get all the three points."
TS Galaxy, who are undefeated in their opening three league fixtures, next face Swallows FC away on Saturday, 21 November.
Kick-off is at 20:15.
