FARMINGTON, Utah (AP) _ Pluralsight Inc. (PS) on Thursday reported a loss of $27.4 million in its third quarter.
The Farmington, Utah-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.
The average estimate of 11 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 5 cents per share.
The online education company posted revenue of $99.5 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $95.3 million.
Pluralsight expects full-year results to range from a loss of 14 cents per share to a loss of 12 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $387 million to $390 million.
Pluralsight shares have risen 10% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $19, a rise of slightly more than 6% in the last 12 months.
