Widespread rain expected in TN, Kerala & Puducherry during next 4 days

New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) India Meteorological Department on Thursday said that due to a cyclonic circulation lies over Gulf of Mannar and adjoining Sri Lanka in lower tropospheric levels, the Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Mahe are expected get fairly widespread rainfall during next four days.
IMD further said that isolated to scattered rainfall over Coastal and south interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are also expected during same period.
“Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall with moderate thunderstorm and lightning very likely over Tamil Nadu and isolated heavy rainfall with moderate thunderstorm with lightning also very likely over Kerala on Thursday and over Tamil Nadu during November 6 to 8", the national weather bureau said, adding that rainfall activity very likely to increase over Andaman & Nicobar Islands from November 8 with possibility of isolated heavy falls over Adman Islands on November 8 and 9.
