Ultras gaining strength in Bangladesh hideouts may unleash terror in Tripura: Source

Ambassa (Tripura), Nov 05(UNI) Banned terrorist outfit NLFT (BM) is gaining strength at an alarming rate in its hideouts in Bangladesh with an aim to bolster anti-social activities like kidnapping and terrorising people in different parts of the state, claimed a highly placed source in State Home department here.
As per the information available with security agencies, the outfit has mainly three hideouts in Bangladesh at Panchari, Segunbagan and Kakiyatoli.
All the hideouts are set around the hilly tracts of Chittagong.
The terror outfits of the north eastern states are planning to form a unified brigade to sponsor anti- India activities, sources said.
However, till date, in Tripura the ultras have only served notices demanding huge amount of subscriptions.
Sources also said the ultras are planning to execute some nasty plots before the ADC election in the un-fenced bordering areas.
The deployment of huge contingent of BSF jawans in Bihar for assembly election has weakened the border security to some extent, sources further said, adding that the security agencies have drawn a plan to patrol the sensitive areas to cover up the shortage.
Still, local people of bordering subdivision of Gandacharra are in great panic.
Local people have demanded deployment of anti-terror squads to combat the situation.
