Indian airlines can fly up to 60 percent of their capacity before the Corona epidemic. The Civil Aviation Ministry said that in view of the epidemic, this order will remain in effect till February 24, 2021.

Earlier, on 2 September 2020, the Ministry issued the order and informed the airlines. However, it was not clear how long the order would remain in effect.

The ministry clarified its September 2 order on October 29, stating that it would remain in effect till 11.59 pm on February 24, 2021, or until further orders.

Earlier, on June 26, the order said that domestic airlines would be able to fly with a maximum passenger capacity of 45 percent. Domestic flights have started with 33 percent capacity since May 25 after being closed for two months due to lockdown.
