Mehbooba Mufti arriving Jammu on Thursday

Jammu, Oct 4 (UNI) Amidst Gupkar Declaration row, Peoples Democratic Party, president Mehbooba Mufti will be visiting the winter capital here on Thursday.
Party sources here said that Ms Mufti will arrive here tomorrow afternoon amidst a ruckus in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir over the Gupkar Declaration.
On November 7, a meeting will also be held in Jammu to be attended by all the members of the Gupkar Declaration, sources said.
They added that the Peoples’ Alliance for Gupkar Declaration was framed to aggressively fight the restoration of Article 370 and 35A, which was abrogated by the Centre on August 5, 2019.
The fight has reached Jammu from Srinagar.
Meanwhile the Declaration members will meet here on 7 November and before the meeting, PDP President will also be interacting with party cadre on November 6 at the party’s headquarter.
Ms Mufti will reach Jammu from Srinagar by air at around 1430 hours on Thursday and will go directly to the government guest house and will meet senior leaders of PDP.
However, during the Gupkara Declaration meeting scheduled for November 7, discussion on land laws, Abrogation of Article 370, 35A will remain on cards, they said.
All political, social and non-social organizations have strongly rejected the Peoples’ Alliance for Gupkar Declaration in Jammu.
