Winter session of Odisha Assembly to commence on Nov 20

Bhubaneswar, Nov 4 (UNI) The winter session of the Odisha Assembly will commence from November 20 and will continue till December 31 next observing all norms of COVID 19.

The session will have 40 working days including five Private Members business Day.

As per the provisional calendar issued by the Assembly Secretariat the first supplementary budget will be presented on the inaugural day of the session on November 20 and the Appropriation bill on the first supplementary statement of expenditure for the year 2020-21 will be passed on November 29.

The session will have sittings on Saturdays and Sunday and will have only two holidays on November 30 (Rash Purnima) and on December 25 ( X Mas).
