CHANDIGARH:
Gurugram and Hisar districts recorded their highest tally of the day of new cases as Haryana reported 1,952 new cases and 19 deaths on Wednesday, this took state’s overall count to 17,4082 cases and 1,836 deaths.
The increased tally as also impacted the recovery rate which has dipped further to 90.84 % as 1161 persons were recovered. This took overall recoveries to 1,58,136 cases. Now there are total 14,110 active patients out of whom 257 are critical who are on oxygen support as well as ventilator support.
Meanwhile a doubling rate of 54 days was recorded while testing rate has gone upto 10,8023 tests per million per day.
Notably, maximum four casualties have been reported from Faridabad followed by three each in Rohtak, Gurugram and Hisar, and two deaths each in Rewari, Bhiwani and
Jind districts.
Gururam reported its highest ever 611 cases of the day which took the district tally to 32,010 cases and 219 deaths. Gurugram now have highest 4108 active cases. Faridabad reported 359 cases where the total has gone to 26,471 cases and 255 deaths. The district has total 1483 active cases.
Hisar too reported its highest every tally of 302 cases where the total has gone upto 10,819 cases and 141 deaths. The district has total 1749 cases. While Sirsa reported 105 cases where the total has gone upto to 5,629.
Sonipat reported 81 cases followed by 75 in Rohtak, 71 in Bhiwani , 61 in Mahineregarh , 57 in Rewari, 52 in
Jhajjar district. While there were six such districts where less than 10 cases were reported.
