Youth Welfare Board Vice Chairman P Biju passes away

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 4 (UNI) Kerala State Youth Welfare Board Vice Chairman and former Students Federation of India (SFI) state secretary P Biju passed away here on Wednesday.
He was 45. He died of a cardiac arrest while recovering from COVID-19 at the Government Medical College Hospital.
P Biju was also a former treasurer of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI). He was also Thiruvananthapuram district committee member of the CPI(M).
In a condolence message, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan recalled P Biju's active presence at various agitations in the state capital for several years.
Biju had tested positive to COVID on October 20. After testing negative later, he was sent home. However, he was again admitted in the hospital after his health deteriorated. He was also on ventilator support due to various complications including kidney failure.
