CHICAGO (AP) _ Tribune Publishing Co. (TPCO) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $6.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Chicago-based company said it had net income of 18 cents. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, came to 27 cents per share.

The media company posted revenue of $188.7 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in December, Tribune Publishing said it expects revenue in the range of $203 million to $208 million.

Tribune Publishing shares have dropped roughly 8% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $12.12, a climb of 30% in the last 12 months.
