NEW DELHI: MidCap stocks were trading on a mixed note at 02:16PM (IST) on Wednesday.
Shares of Honeywell Automation India (up 5.15 per cent), Jindal Steel & Power (up 3.48 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Infotech (up 3.33 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (up 3.29 per cent) and Crompton (up 2.7 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Godrej Properties (down 6.42 per cent), Muthoot Finance (down 3.45 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 2.86 per cent), Emami (down 2.53 per cent) and Crisil (down 2.36 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The S&P BSE MidCap index was trading 0.19 per cent up at 15048.87 around 02:16PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 59.65 points at 11873.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 236.18 points at 40497.31.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of Adani Ports SEZ, Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Navin Fluorine, APL Apollo Tube, Adani Enterpr., Adani Gas Ltd. and PI Industries hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Panth Infinity Ltd., A & M Febcon Ltd., Mehai Technology Ltd., Saffron Industries Ltd., Tranway Technologies Ltd., Colorchips New Media Ltd., Vikas Proppant & Granite Ltd., Pazel International Ltd., Real Touch Finance Ltd. and Ishaan Infrastructures & Shelters Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
