For months, our readers have been battling with the eNatis system, all failing to make successful online appointments for licence appointments.

I thought by no the system is now working for all and motorists are now able to book slots with more ease, but this has not been the case as readers still write in daily about their struggles.

Wheels24 reader Pieter du Toit is a driving licence instructor. He has written in to us and shared his frustrations about the online booking system. He speaks for thousands of motorists who share his pain and sentiments. Here's what he has to say:

Clearly, the eNatis online booking system is not working.

We, as driving schools, can't function properly. Ekurhuleni is now opening learners and drivers slots on a Tuesday.

We can't sit behind a computer the whole day, waiting for random slots to be opened. We have lessons to do. We even can't get into your so-called online system.

Have you been able to make an easy online appointment since the RTMC has opened random slots for licence appointments on the eNatis online booking system? Please email us and share your thoughts and experiences here.

PLEASE! Please, please stop this online booking system and let us do walk-in bookings again!

Mpumalanga and the Free State are still on the walk-in booking system, and they don't have this BIG mess with bookings.

Why do we have the eNatis system if it does not work?

We can't go on like this; you can't plan your day. Doing lessons and booking lessons, then all of a sudden you're lucky to get a date for a test. Then, you have to move all your students' booked lessons to be able to do the test of one student.

Previously, with the walk-in booking system, you could plan your diary and assist your students.

I'm sitting behind this computer for almost two hours, and I can't even get into the system.
