Former International Hockey umpire Susanta Kumar Dey passes away

Kolkata, Nov 4 (UNI) Former International hockey umpire Susanta Kumar Dey, who had represented Bengal in the field hockey, died on Wednesday, the Bengal Hockey Association announced.
He was 78.
"He was an International Hockey Umpire, and National Hockey Player. He participated in the Bengal National team from South Eastern Railway," BHA Joint Secretary Dr Md Khalid Hussain said in a statement.
After completing the playing career, he coached the Bengal National Team, East Bengal Club, C.E.S.C, and F.C.I (E.Z).
