"For the price" is a term reviewers used to describe the pair's budget-friendly MSRP of $59.99 — that price has been cut by more than half and is now down to $24.99 at Best Buy. Skullcandy is so much more than the $10 colorful headphones that 10-year-old you wanted to grab at the checkout line at Walmart. Whilst maintaining its status as a budget brand, Skullcandy has upped its tech and extended its reach into the over-ear headphone and truly wireless earbud categories.
The Skullcandy Sesh Evo are a reliable pair of grab-and-go headphones. The 10-hour battery life is an obvious win, and the water resistance and snug fit makes them a great companion on runs or during workouts. The pill-shaped case holds three more full charges (around 15 hours of additional juice). Truly wireless earbuds aren't typically the style that audiophiles would go for anyway, so the lack of noise cancellation or exceedingly accurate lows here is trivial. The bumping bass and crisp highs are enough to please the average listener. Three different EQ modes for music, film, and podcasts are a huge plus for users with an array of interests.
