How to Register National Pension System Complaints?
The growing popularity of the National Pension Scheme (NPS) has made many individuals invest in the pension scheme rolled out by the government of India. The exempt-exempt-exempt or EEE instrument makes it one of the most sought out forms of investment amongst the investment community.
To help the subscriber the National Pension System has provided an opportunity for registering the complaints and grievances with the concerned authorities through several modes.

A customer or subscriber can choose any of the below-mentioned modes to register for NPS complaints. Complaints related to the National Pension System can be raised through
- Offline Mode
- Online Mode
- Through Call Center
Offline Mode
Subscribers can submit a written complaint to the Point of Presence (POP) - SP. The POP-SP will be forwarding the complaint to the Central Record Keeping Agency (CRA) Central Grievance Management System (CGMS). On successful registration at token number will be issued and the same will be sent to POP - SP. The complainant can secure the issued token number from the POP-SP.
Online Mode
Subscribers can register an online complaint in the Central Grievance Management System (CGMS). The complainant should fill in the Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN) details, if available. If in case PRAN details are not filled in, then POP registration details should be provided.
Please Note: The complainant should fill in the grievance details in the form and supporting documents should be uploaded via online mode.
Post submission of complaint successfully, a token number will get displayed on the screen. This number should be noted by the complainant for further reference and for tracking the complaint in future.
Through the Call Centre
The complainant can complain by calling up the CRA call centre by dialling a toll-free number. All that the subscriber has to do is to authenticate his/her identity by telling the T-PIN allotted to them at the time of opening an NPS account. Post successful registration of the complaint, a token number will be issued for further reference.
