Bikers steal bag from car

Chandigarh, November 3

Two unidentified motorcycle-borne suspects stole a bag containing a laptop and cash from a businessman’s car near the Sector 29/30 light point.

The complainant, Rajinder Pal Bansal of Sector 21, reported that while he was heading towards the light point, two suspects, riding a motorcycle, told him that his car had a flat tyre. He stopped the car and found the tyre flat. Bansal then asked his driver to come to the spot to change the tyre.

“As his driver reached there, Bansal unlocked the car due to which the boot also got opened. Taking advantage of this, one of the suspects walked up to the car and stole the bag,” said a police official. The suspect ran towards the bike on which his accomplice was waiting. — TNS
