COVID: J&K reports 478 new +ve cases, 12 deaths

Jammu, Nov 3 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday informed that 478 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (195 from Jammu division and 383 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 96188.
Also 12 deaths have been reported; 04 from Jammu division and 08 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 578 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 245 from Jammu Division and 378 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 96188 positive cases, 5968 are Active Positive, 88718 have recovered and 1502 have died; 503 in Jammu division and 999 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 2366741 test results available, 2270553 samples have been tested as negative till November 3.
Till date 661459 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 16057 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 5968 in isolation and 44638 in home surveillance. Besides, 593294 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Applicants will update their respective examinations results by 06th November. The tentative merit list will be displayed on 9th November. If any applicant has any objection, can file the objection by 10th November and 11th November. The corrected merit list of applicants will be displayed on 12th November.

U'khand HC directs govt to take action against encroachment by Parmarth Niketan Ashram

Nainital, Nov 3 (UNI) The Uttarakhand High Court on Tuesday directed the state government to take action against the head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram Swami Chidanand Saraswati, for encroachment and illegal construction in forest land in Birpur Khurd in Rishikesh, within November 23.
