National Fertilizers zoomed by nearly 13% on Sensex during Tuesday's trading session, as the stock clocked an intraday high of Rs33.75 per piece in early deals. The stock performance was driven after the company recorded robust growth in Bentonite Sulphur and SSP sales.
In its regulatory filing on Monday, the company highlighted that Bentonite Sulphur which is produced in NFL Panipat Plant logged sale of 11,730 MT during April-October 2020 against CPLY of 3,478 MT. While the sale of SSP reached 14,726 MT compared to 6,323 MT during the same period last year.
Further, the company is also encouraging farmers in its training programmes to also use non-urea fertilizers like DAP, MoP, NPK and Sulphur Based fertilizers in order to promote the balanced use of fertilizers in-country.
At around 10.29 AM, the company's stock was trading at Rs32.70 per piece up 9.18% on Sensex.
