Lucknow Metro focus on safety, cleaning, sanitization during Covid period

Lucknow, Nov 3 (UNI) Since 2 months of the resumption of Lucknow metro train services in the entire north-south corridor from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport to Munshipulia, in this new shift, with special focus on the safety of passengers, Lucknow Metro has made the cleaning and sanitization of metro trains and stations even more regular.
Thanks to this initiative of the Lucknow Metro for cleanliness, the trust of the passengers has increased even more, and once again the city dwellers are confidently taking full advantage of the Lucknow Metro.
On Monday, the number of commuters (Daily-Ridership) on the operational corridor was 20,920.
Although this figure is only one-third (1/3) of the daily ridership before the Covid-19 period it still shows that the residents are satisfied with the precautionary arrangements provided by the Lucknow Metro.
Lucknow Metro is been smoothly running between the 23 km long North-South corridor from CCS Airport to Munshipulia. There are many provisions for the safety and convenience of the passengers implemented by the Metro Department, including the use of Go Smart Card for an affordable and easy commute.
Speaking on this, UP Metro's Managing Director, Kumar Keshav says, “We take full care of each and everything related to the safety and convenience of our passengers. 21000 Ridership mark shows that the people of Lucknow have embraced the metro's world-class facility wholeheartedly. Arrangements made for cleaning and sanitization in the metro premises prove that the Lucknow Metro is safer than any other means of public traffic in the city. ”
