Festive season passengers are facing problems due to non-receipt of tickets. Waiting lists in special trains also bother people to go home. However, the railway is going to diagnose this problem soon. Hundreds of special trains have been run by the government in this festive season. More than 200 festival special trains have been run, but passengers are still facing the waiting list. According to the railway officials, waiting list is visible in 327 trains out of the 736 special trains currently running. But there is no need to take tension, because the railway has also prepared to get rid of this problem.

The chairman of the Railway Board says that the number of tickets is being analyzed to eliminate the problem of waiting list. He told that a plan is being considered to run more trains on the busiest routes i.e. trains with waiting list. After analysis of the data, more trains can be run on these routes. Not only this, there is also the possibility of running a clone train to enable the passengers to get a confirmed seat in the trains.

If you understand the Clone Train Scheme in easy terms, two trains of the same number depart from the same place at certain intervals. And reach the destination by a single route. In such a situation, the clone train is used for the trains with more waiting list so that the passengers with the waiting list get a confirmed seat in the second train of the same number i.e. the clone train and they can easily reach their destination.

For example, if the Sampark Kranti Express from Delhi to Bihar has a high waiting list, the Railways will run another train of the same number from Delhi to Bihar, an hour or so after its departure, which includes the Bihar Sampark Kranti waiting list. Ticket passengers will get a chance to travel with a confirmed ticket.

Let us know that the railway has been operating 392 Pooja special trains since October 20 because of festive weather. These trains will run till 30 November. Railways had said that special trains are being run for other destinations including Kolkata, Patna, Varanasi, Lucknow to cater to the increasing demand of travelers due to holidays during Diwali and Chhath Puja. Mail / Express trains have been deployed which are now running regularly in the entire country.
