India's merchandise exports fell 5.4% y/y in October: Govt

NEW DELHI: India's merchandise exports fell 5.4% in October from a year ago to $24.82 billion while imports contracted 11.56% to $33.6 billion, preliminary data released by the government on Tuesday showed.

Exports had grown 5.27% to $27.40 billion in the previous month, the data showed.
