Dhankhar calls for fully exploiting potential of North Bengal

Darjeeling, Nov 03 (UNI) West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Tuesday underscored the need for harnessing the potential of North Bengal so that energy can be unleashed for development and its emergence as a unique growth hub.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Mr Dhankhar said, " Looking forward to lined up involved interactions at Work Station-Raj Bhawan Darjeeling-with rich human resource and intellect of area. "

" Potential of the area needs full exploitation @MamataOfficial so that energy can be unleashed for development and its emergence as a unique growth hub, " he added.

" Touched by the warmth of people here and moved by Agam Singh Giri’s 1946 poem ‘Gorkhako Jai Hos’, " the Governor stated.

" Enriched by varied inputs am in sync with aspirations and expectations of people here. Tea and Tourism; music and sports; literature and cultural heritage make it pride of the Nation, " Mr Dhankhar noted.
