People of Dumka and Bermo endorsed our commitment; confident of bettering margin: JMM

(Rptng with corr in para 2 and 6)
Ranchi, Nov 3 (UNI) The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Tuesday claimed that people of Dumka and Bermo have endorsed the commitment of the government and consequently the grand alliance candidates would be voted to a historic victory
Addressing a press conference after voting ended for the bypolls on Dumka (ST) and Bermo seats of Jharkhand Assembly, JMM central general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya quipped that the party's victory was certain and with a big margin because of the campaign by three former Chief Ministers of BJP.
Bhattacharya said people of Dumka and Bermo have given a clear message that the three former Chief Ministers of BJP have become irrelevant in Jharkhand politics.
He said that in the previous elections, JMM candidate won with a historic margin of 13,000 votes.
He accused the BJP leaders of making baseless allegations and attacking the Soren family, particularly Basant Soren, and added that all such allegations have been rejected by the people of Dumka.
Taking further swipe on legislature wing leader of BJP Babulal Marandi, he said Prime Minister Narendra Modi patted Mr Marandi's back twice in Araria rally in Bihar, but what will happen on November 10 when BJP's central leadership would know Marandi and Raghubar Das had misled them.
Bhattacharya said BJP leaders should relax and all the arrangements for their relaxation would be made by his party.
The JMM spokesperson said the Congress had won by a margin of more than 25,000 votes in Bermo also and it would increase further in the bypolls that ended today.
