In the midst of growing uncertainties when the world is fighting pandemic and economic environment has experienced its worst, Conventions Centres are fighting back by organising virtual shows and events for people. Online is the way forward, with this vision the Convention Centre.
Dedicated broadcasting facilities are making centres relevant in the age of Covid. Even before discussing with the SeneGence International virtual conference last week in Tulsa, Okla. Meetology’s Jonathan Bradshaw tweeted a illuminating video clip from behind the scenes at the Cox Business Convention Centre. He showed off the broadcast stage: a semicircle of 20-foot-high plasma screens that he called it one of the best virtual screen set up for hosting events.
Cox Convention centre was a victim to the pandemic situation and now have adopted the alternative of organising virtual and hybrid conferences as a way of survival. At the initial stage of pandemic virtual meeting were the only option, but now following the new-normal regulations and armed with tools like social distancing, mask and adequate ventilation authorities may hold meetings in small group.
Convention Centres have huge space and impressive set-ups to ensure social distancing and also adheres to desired regulations to offer professional event organising set-up on the virtual platform.
