Twitter users think R Madhavan was 'disrespecting' 'Baba Ka Dhaba' couple, actor clarifies on 'fraud' remark

Pictures and videos of 'Baba Ka Dhaba' owner Kanta Prasad's toothless smile with his eyes filled with happy tears became a testimonial for humanity during COVID-19 pandemic in India's capital, Delhi. The video that made him viral showed him and his wife crying as they were not able to sell their food. Post that many celebrities and commoners came forward to financially help the couple. However, over a month after the viral video, Prasad has filed a police complaint alleging misappropriation of funds by the Youtuber and his wife, who shot their clip. Reacting to this, actor R Madhavan shared a report on Twitter and called out the accused person and his wife for duping the elderly couple. He called the accused couple 'fraud' but some netizens thought that Madhavan was talking about Baba and his wife and slammed him. Since then, the actor has clarified and even corrected some of the Twitter users.
