Fake army recruitment racket busted in Pune, three arrested including a jawan

The Southern Command Lawson Unit (Military Intelligence) and the Crime Branch of the Pune Police have uncovered a fake army recruitment racket. The racket was discovered during a written examination. Police have arrested three people, including an army man.

Pune's Deputy Commissioner of Police Bachchan Singh said, "We had received news that there may be something wrong with the entrance examination going on in the Army Physical Testing Institute." Reaching the spot, the racket exposed fake recruitments in the army was exposed. Police are interrogating Havildar Jaidev Singh Parihar, Vel Singh Rawat, and Ravindra Rathore in custody. Parihar is employed in the recruitment office. According to the police, these people promised to get 17 candidates a job in the army. In lieu of this, there was a deal to take one and a half lakh rupees from each candidate.
