K'taka reports 2,576 fresh nCoV cases, 29 deaths

Bengaluru, Nov 2 (UNI) Karnataka reported 2576 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the last 24-hour, taking the total number of persons infected with the virus to 829640.

According to official sources, the state also saw 29 corona-related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 11221 so far.
Total 8334 people discharged, during the last 24-hour, after recovering from the disease.
The Bengaluru Urban district reported highest 1439 fresh cases, followed by Ballari 60, followed by, Chikkaballapura 58, Chikkamagaluru 46, Chitradurga 44 while other districts also reported cases in two digits.
The total number of tests conducted in the last 24 hours accounted for 78496, including 13481 of the
Rapid Antigen Detection tests, the sources added.
