JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu's latest offering brings the iconic experiences of Phuket to Mumbai
Once upon a time, warm greetings by hotel staff, sitting by the poolside sipping drinks and savouring authentic food from destinations across the globe felt like something you'd naturally do at least a couple of times a year. For the past months however, it has felt like a fantasy, a dream waiting to come true. Now, the iconic resort destination JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu has come up with an innovative way to ‘staycay’ by recreating the tropical experiences and signature iconic elements of Phuket and JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa through the month of November, with ‘Drive to Phuket’.
This unique ‘staycation’ will have all the elements of the original Thailand experience, beginning with the authentic check-in, a welcome by associates dressed in JW Marriott Phuket uniforms, and signature Phuket turtle- and elephant-inspired welcome amenities. Head up to the Monsoon Deck and indulge with items from the chef’s special Phuket-inspired menu. Make your ‘Thai evening’ a bit more special by lighting the traditional floating lamps in the lotus pond.
One of the popular reasons visitors pick Thailand as a vacation destination is for the local cuisine. At the resort's all-day dining restaurant—Lotus Café—guests have the option to taste signature dishes from the chef as well as a lavish Thai-themed Sunday Brunch. On weekends, you can also savour authentic Thai cuisine at Dashanzi, JW’s progressive modern Asian cuisine restaurant. Glass noodle salads, prawn cakes, a spicy Thai curry, and a selection of custom cocktails are just a few of the menu highlights to look forward to. If you want to take the culinary experience a notch further, you can even sign up for the GINJA cooking school experience, an ‘Ancient Wild’ cooking class offered at the property.
To end the month on a delightful note, the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu will host an outdoor flea market on November 28 where guests can indulge in an immersive Thai experience, filled with street food, shopping and much more.
