Coronavirus in Delhi: The Union Home Secretary while appreciating the efforts of Delhi Government officials also emphasized the strict implementation of the strategy to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 in the city.

The Central Government on Monday attributed the increase in Covid-19 Cases in Delhi (Delhi) to festive weather, excessive movement of people, and negligence in precautions related to Kovid behavior. The Ministry of Home Affairs said in a statement, "The recent increase in the number of patients under Kovid-19 in Delhi is due to excessive movement of people in the festive season and negligence in basic precautions related to Kovid behavior." The ministry said that the availability of beds in hospitals is comfortable as 57 percent of the 15,789 beds dedicated to Kovid-19 is empty. At the same time, the administration is focusing on testing, detection of contacts, and treatment between new cases of coronavirus infection and an increase in the number of under-treated patients.

According to the statement, during the meeting, a strategy was also chalked out to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 in Delhi and during this time health experts besides representatives of the Ministry of Health were also present.

Discussion on these issues was discussed during the meeting, especially given the increasing pollution due to festive weather and decreasing temperature.

Accordingly, it was decided in the meeting that efforts such as RT-PCR investigation targeted at sensitive places like restaurants, markets, saloons, will be focused. It was also decided to increase the availability of other medical resources including ventilators, beds, and ICUs.
