Actor Kangana Ranaut has extended her brother Akshat’s wedding invite to her ‘friend’ and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and HP Cabinet Minister Mahender Singh Thakur. Taking to Twitter, she shared pictures from their meeting and wrote, “Today our family extended invite of my brother Aksht’s wedding to honourable Chief Minister of Himachal, a dear friend Shri  @jairamthakurbjp ji also HP cabinet Minister and family friend our uncle Shri @MahenderSTBJP ji. (sic)”

Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur thanked Kangana for the wedding invite.


In the photos shared, she can be seen clad in purple ethnic wear and was accompanied by her sister Rangoli Chandel and brother Akshat.

Earlier, she shared that the family has extended the wedding invite to former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and her father’s friend, Shanta Kumar. She tweeted, “Today our family extended the invite of my brother Aksht’s wedding to Shri Shanta Kumar ji one of the great leaders of his time and my father’s friend, it is my honour I got to visit Vivekanand Medical Research Institute uncle is mentoring now.”


Meanwhile, on the work front, she has recently wrapped p the schedule of Thalaivi and returned to Manali for her brother’s wedding. Apart from Thalaivi, Kangana has Tejas in which she essays the role of an Indian Air Force pilot, Dhaakad, an action thriller film. She also announced Aparajita Ayodhya, which is based on the Babri Masjid demolition incident and a yet-to-be-titled film based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits.
