On the anniversary of the Springboks' triumph over England at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, Faf de Klerk has celebrated the anniversary and reminded us of his famous SA flag underpants.

De Klerk took to Instagram on Monday with a picture of himself kissing the Webb Ellis Cup clothed in just his undies with the caption, "Happy 1 year anniversary!"

The scrumhalf famously walked around the dressing room celebrating South Africa's victory on 2 November 2019 and even met Prince Harry dressed that way.

Other Springboks also took to social media to celebrate the win including No 8 Duane Vermuelen and fullback Willie le Roux who quoted Mark Twain saying, "Focus more on the desire than on your doubt, and the dream will take care of itself."

Earlier in a press statement released by SA Rugby, flanker Pieter-Steph du Toit called the Springbok victory the highlight of his rugby career.

"Looking back, one year later, you now truly appreciate how unbelievable it was to be part of the Springbok team to play in Japan," said du Toit.
