Start-up incubator Encubay announces The Launch of its first Cohort

9 women lead start-ups were selected out of 150+ applications

by Collaborat-her, a diversity focused start-up incubator has announced the launch of its first cohort of 9 women led start-up. 150+ women led start-ups applied globally with a majority (24%) applications coming from EdTech

Encubay’s flagship initiative is a 6-months incubation program
that assists entrepreneurs create a highly focused roadmap. This is done
through bi-weekly expert sessions, assigning 1:1 mentors, mentors opening weekly office hours, making global connections and corporate connections too.

 The selected start-ups will be given access to the entire Encubay network of 50+ mentors such as
Kuppulakshmi Krishnamoorthy, Global Head - Zoho for Startups, Ranjita Kanani - Head GTM
Strategies, Vodafone India, Jyotsna Uttamchandani - Executive Director, Syska,Satish
Upadhyay, Head of Marketing - Amazon India, Prateek Khare - Head of
Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Swissnex India and Bandan Jot Singh - Product Lead, Gojek

With 30+
investment partners from VCs, funds and family offices like
SheCapital, Eximius, Artha Ventures, Villgro, AWE
Funds, PointOne Capital, Samyakth Capital actively engaging with the start-ups from the very beginning
will also be looking at making investments.

Ahuja, Founder, Encubay, said,
“Encubay has been a team and a universe effort. It was just 4-5
months back when we decided that the program has to go from physical to virtual
given the condition in the world and it seemed far-fetched at the time. But
there were people who came out of nowhere to support us, so willing to open to
open up their networks” 

In addition to the cohort companies, Encubay looks at solving for the growing ecosystem and has an ever growing set of network companies who gain access to the network but also get assistance in corporate connections, global connections and fundraising.
