LUCKNOW: A 35-year-old autorickshaw contractor and property dealer was allegedly bludgeoned to death over a dispute under SGPGI police station on Saturday night. Police have registered an FIR.
The deceased Afsan Siddiqui was a resident of Vrindavan Colony. According to the police, Afsan’s brother Imran got a call from one Rinki around 10pm on Saturday. She told him that Afsan was injured and she was getting him admitted to a private hospital.
Later, doctors referred Afsan to Lokbandhu Hospital, but he was not admitted as he was critically injured and needed special medical care. Afsan was later rushed to KGMU’s Trauma Centre where he was declared brought dead, said the police.

He named Rinki, her husband, Rinku aka Bhaukali, Ramesh Chand and Rashid in his complaint. While Rinku is a resident of Telibagh, Rashid and Ramesh live in Vrindavan Colony. Police have registered a case of murder against the four.
