Captain: Ishan Kishan

Kishan has been dismissed only once in the powerplay in 110 balls this season. When he gets to the middle phase, he strikes at 146.71 with a boundary percentage of 56.5%. He has been in terrific form off late as well, scoring 202 runs in his last 4 innings at a strike rate of 145.32. He has also jumped up to the second spot in the leading run getters list for Mumbai this season with 395 runs.

Vice-captain: David Warner

Warner has shown some terrific intent in the last few games from ball one. He has looked to take the attack to the opposition from the get go and that's when he is at his best. He has scored 109 runs in the last three games at a strike rate of 184.74. Warner has scored 444 runs at an average of 37 in the tournament so far with a strike of 134.95. The last time these two teams at the same venue, Warner scored 60.

Hot Picks

Quinton de Kock: de Kock has had a couple of quiet games lately, but he likes batting against this opposition and this game could not have come at a better time for him, just before the playoffs. Since 2018, de Kock has scored 155 runs in three innings against the Sunrisers, including two fifties, at an average of 77.5 and a strike rate of 134.78. Don't forget he could get you some points as a keeper also.

Manish Pandey: Pandey has been in very good touch off late scoring 168 runs in his last four innings. Amongst the Sunrisers batsmen, he has scored the most runs (144 runs at 36 and strike rate of 135.84) against Mumbai as well since 2018. Given he is batting at No.3, he should face more balls and hence has the potential to score more.

Rashid Khan: Khan has been amongst the wickets throughout the season and bowls at a terrific economy. In the last three games, he has picked up six wickets at an economy of 3.75. This season he has picked up 18 wickets and he is a must have.

Differential Picks

Jason Holder: Holder has played a significant role in the last few wins for the Sunrisers. He has picked up eight wickets in the four games he has played in at an economy of 8.31. He also smoked a few out of the park in the previous game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, showing a glimpse of what he is capable of with the bat. On the same ground with short boundaries, he can definitely play a role with both bat and ball for the Sunrisers.

Trent Boult: Boult has picked up 20 wickets in the tournament so far at an economy of 8.14 and a strike rate of 15.4. No bowler has picked up more wickets than Boult in the powerplay this season. He has picked up 12 wickets at an economy of 6.74. If he continues the streak and gets a couple in the powerplay, he could get a cluster of wickets given the Sunrisers middle order is quite thin.
