Sudan national held with red sanders logs in Hyderabad airport

Based on suspicion, CISF personnel had checked the passenger’s bag with the help of a scanning machine and found the sandalwood logs weighing 5.7 kg. The passenger was later handed over to the Customs wing for further investigation.

Hyderabad: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here detained a Sudan national on Monday for illegally transporting red sanders logs in a bag.

Based on suspicion, CISF personnel had checked the passenger’s bag with the help of a scanning machine and found the sandalwood logs weighing 5.7 kg. The passenger was later handed over to the Customs wing for further investigation.
