SC directs Alld HC to dispose of bail plea of Dental Surgeon

New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Allahabad High Court to 'positively' dispose of the bail plea of an accused Dental Surgeon, within a period of four weeks.

'We direct the Allahabad High Court to expeditiously dispose of the bail plea of accused Dental Surgeon Naimish Trivedi, within a period of four weeks,' the bench of the apex court, led by Justice Rohinton Fali Nariman, ordered during the hearing, which was conducted through video-conferencing.

Mr Trivedi had allegedly sold a 'family honour' story to contract killers for the murder of Ritz restaurant owner Brahma S Khanna.

The matter was pending before the Allahabad High Court, since the past two years.
