On Friday, at least three people were killed and three others were injured when a vehicle crashed about nine kilometers from Nagaland's Noklak town. Official sources said a taxi crashed near the Shigsey River and fell about 60 km down the hill. In this accident, three people died on the spot and three others were injured. The injured have been admitted to Knocklock Community Health Center, including a driver and two children.
According to sources, the dead included a woman and a male. It is being told that the woman was a teacher in a school in Vai village. Both men were residents of Sanglao village.
They were going to Tunsang at the time of the accident. A police team along with the personnel of Asam Rifles and locals immediately rushed to the spot and removed the people from the crashed vehicle and admitted them to the health center.
