Youngsters urged to opt for self-employment

To promote self-employment among younsters, a Webex meeting of the governing council of District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises, Ludhiana, was organised. The meeting was chaired by Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma and Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC Development) Sandeep Kumar.

Addressing the meetings, ADC Sandeep Kumar asked the District Education Officer (DEO) (Secondary), representatives of GNE College, SRS Polytechnic, Industrial Training Institute, Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETI) and VLE to get maximum registrations done on www.pgrkam.com

He directed lead district manager to motivate all banks to provide maximum self-employment loans.

ADC Sandeep Kumar said candidates interested for self-employment can apply at https://forms.gle/ZV2VdahGUX5DrobZ8 and LDM, Backfinco, SC Corp and KVIB were told to help in applying for self employment loans.

He also directed the District Industrial Centre to provide vacancies through industries and to register employers on www.pgrkam.com. He asked the Labour Department for registrations at https://forms.gle/QXpKYNptn57P29G78

Deputy Director Meenakshi Sharma appealed to all departments to provide data in the given format.
