Reliance Jio on Friday posted 185 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit at Rs 2,844 crore for the quarter ended September 30. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, the profit figure grew by 12.85 per cent.
Analysts in an ETNOW poll had estimated the number at Rs 2,740.
The telco had posted a Rs 2,520 crore profit for the preceding quarter ended June 30.
Revenue from operations increased 33 per cent YoY to Rs 17,481 crore.
The company reported average revenue per user (Arpu) of Rs 145 for the quarter against Rs 140.30 reported for June quarter.
