Lucknow, Oct 30 (UNI) Giving a slogan of SMS – Soap/Sanitiser, Mask and Social distancing, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said these steps are extremely helpful in preventing the spreading of Corona infection further.
Presiding over an unlock review meeting at his official residence on Friday, the CM also said till an effective medicine or a vaccine for Corona is found it is very important to remain aware and cautious.
Directing to expedite group testing, the CM said 1.50 Lakh Covid-19 tests should be conducted daily. “In view of the upcoming festivals, group testing of vendors or other members of the business community who might come in touch with people during festive session should be carried out,” he said.
Keeping in view of the threat of dengue in the coming times, the CM said efforts for controlling communicable diseases should be carried out effectively. Fogging and sanitisation should be carried out and public address systems should be used to spread awareness about effective precautionary ways to save people from Corona and communicable diseases.
The CM also gave directions to improve the recovery rate in Kanpur Nagar, Meerut, Basti and Varanasi districts and strengthen the medical facilities.
To ensure social and financial security and all round development of workers and labourers, the State Government has constituted Uttar Pradesh Labour (Employment Exchange and Job) Commission. For effective execution and monitoring of the directions of the commission, district level committees, headed by district magistrates, have been constituted in all the districts.
DMs should hold committee meetings at the districts and later will be reviewed at the state level, CM said.
The CM said the various awareness programs being held under the 'Mission Shakti’ campaign are yielding good results. “The awareness programmes should be carried on till November 15, “ the CM said.
The CM also instructed the revenue department to ensure procurement of blankets so that it can be distributed timely to the destitute and needy.
