DIBRUGARH: To further strengthen the commitment of all the employees and staff working at Dibrugarh airport to uphold the highest standards of personal integrity in public services, Dibrugarh airport has started observing Vigilance Awareness Week, 2020.
The inauguration was marked by an integrity pledge-taking ceremony held at 11am on October 27 in the presence of Dibrugarh SP Prateek Thube Vijay Kumar, who was the chief guest for the occasion. An organisational integrity pledge, mentioning best practices aligned with highest standard of public services to be adopted by the employees of AAI, was administered by the airport director Ramjee Awasthi to all the employees.
This was followed by a citizens’ integrity pledge administered by the superintendent of police to all the employees of AAI, CISF, airlines and other agencies present on the occasion.
The chief guest spoke at length about duties of every person, and a public servant in particular, to build a corruption-free India and to contribute to the overall socio-economic progress of thenation. After this, the airport director gave a brief speech on the history of gradual improvements in AAI.
Also present on the occasion were the chief aerodrome security officer of Dibrugarh airport, Kumar Abhishek, and the station managers of the airlines.
