Palghar Collector tours villages suffering from child malnutrition

Palghar, Oct 30 (UNI) Collector Manik Gurusal toured the remote areas of Talasari taluka of this district so as to look into the ground realities related to the pertinent problem of child malnutrition in these hinterlands, a district official said on Friday.
During his day-long tour on Thursday, Dr. Gurusal visited the Anganwadis in the villages of Kurje Bobapada, Sutrakar Patilpada, Sutrakar Katilpada, Anvir Patilpada and Savroili Bramhanpada.
He also held dialogues with the pregnant and lactating mothers as well as young girls inhabiting these tribal areas. Further, the Collector inquired the status of several government schemes, including the Amrut Aahar Yojana and Khavti grants.
