Marketing software developer Tollring has extended the APIs for its iCall Suite call analytics and call recording products to allow integration with CRM and BI systems.

There are two new iCall Suite APIs.

The new CRM connector allows a call recording to be linked to and accessed from a contact record in CRMs including Salesforce, Hubspot, Zoho and Zendesk.

The Power BI integration means iCall Suite call reporting statistics can be added to existing company dashboards.

"APIs are vital to delivering excellent customer service by giving businesses greater access to their customer interaction analytics," said Perth-born Tollring CEO Tony Martino.

"Our full range of APIs enables key metrics to be drawn from a call analytics, a call recording, and even a fraud management perspective. This means that end customers, resellers and service providers have greater flexibility in how they use iCall Suite, and how they leverage value from it."

He added "For our service provider partners, our APIs make it easy and seamless for them to on-board customers on iCall Suite via their own provisioning portals. Customers can also leverage Tollring's single sign-on capabilities to make access to iCall Suite seamless.

"Simply put, APIs have become a critical part of our offering and continue to be an area of focus for us. We are delighted to release this new development which will give end users and partners much greater flexibility in how they consume and use iCall Suite's insights."

Now’s the Time for 400G Migration

The optical fibre community is anxiously awaiting the benefits that 400G capacity per wavelength will bring to existing and future fibre optic networks.

Nearly every business wants to leverage the latest in digital offerings to remain competitive in their respective markets and to provide support for fast and ever-increasing demands for data capacity. 400G is the answer.

Initial challenges are associated with supporting such project and upgrades to fulfil the promise of higher-capacity transport.

The foundation of optical networking infrastructure includes coherent optical transceivers and digital signal processing (DSP), mux/demux, ROADM, and optical amplifiers, all of which must be able to support 400G capacity.

With today’s proprietary power-hungry and high cost transceivers and DSP, how is migration to 400G networks going to be a viable option?

PacketLight's next-generation standardised solutions may be the answer. Click below to read the full article.
