108 more test positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal, tally mounts to 14580

Itanagar, Oct 29 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 tally rose to 14580 with detection of 108 fresh cases of infections.

Of the fresh cases of infections , Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 28, followed by Lower Subansiri 12 and Siang eight, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS).

Seven cases were also reported from Lower Dibang Valley (LDV) , six each from West Siang, Changlang, Lohit , Tawang and East Siang, five each from Upper Subansiri and Leparada, three each from Longding and Upper Siang, two from Papum Pare, one each from Pakke Kessang, Kra Daadi,Tirap, Namsai and West kameng, it said.

All the cases are asymptomatic except 33.

According to the bulletin issued by the DHS last night, recoveries tally rose to 12480 with 183 more patients discharged.

Total active cases in the state stood at 2064. Death toll at 36.

COVID-19: Toll in Bengal rises to 6,664, cases touch 3,61,703

Kolkata, Oct 28 (UNI) The COVID-19 toll in Bengal rose to 6,664 with the death of 60
persons on Wednesday, while the tally touched 3,61,703 with 3,924 new confirmed
cases.
According to the latest State Government Health bulletin, the active cases accounted
for 37,111, while the number of discharged cases stood at 3,17,928.
The percentage of discharged rose to 87.90 per cent.

Three more COVID-19 deaths, 90 fresh cases in Meghalaya

Shillong, Oct 28 (UNI) Meghalaya on Wednesday recorded three more COVID-related deaths,
including two women, pushing up the number of fatalities to 85, while 90 fresh cases took the
number of active cases to 1,364, even as 134 more recoveries took the number of recovered
persons to 7,777, health officials said.
