01/5Reasons why you get pimples on the same spot
Have you noticed zits and pimples in the same spot month after month? It can get very irritating and frustrating to deal with inflammation and to heal it all over again. There are legitimate reasons why a pimple keeps appearing in the same spot on your skin. Here's what you need to know about the same and the things that you can do to help pimples stay away.
02/5It might be hormonal cysts
Cysts are large pimples under your skin. As they fill up, they become inflamed. After the inflammation soothes down. the sac still remains which can become inflamed again. These pimples will never come to a head, will take longer than usual to disappear and will even leave a scar behind. These are mostly caused by hormones and as they are so much deeper than a regular pimple, they're more difficult to treat. Do not pick or squeeze them because they might not be ready to come out and can infect other nearby areas on the skin too.
03/5Your pores must be blocked
Your pores usually create sebum and a few areas on your face like the T-zone tends to get oilier. All this sebum when combined with dead skin and dirt which can lead to clogged pores, whiteheads and blackheads. You need to regularly exfoliate in order to prevent repeated breakouts and clear out the pores. Incorporate a salicylic acid cleanser to help control excess oil.
04/5Your zits are period-induced
If you are someone who gets zits during that time of the month, they'll usually show up by the jawline and the cheeks. If this goes on for long, you need to go to a professional to get a proper clean up. You can also apply dry ice as it will destroy the stubborn oil gland. Blue light therapy also works fine for stubborn pimple.
05/5You touch your face a lot
If you're continually fidgeting with your bangs or touching your face during stressful work meetings, mopping up sweat with the back of your hand, you're basically inviting pimples by creating the perfect environment. It is because of the dirty fingers, bacteria can transfer on your skin and cause the zits in the vicinity to pop up. Touching the skin can also stimulate blood circulation to the area which can cause inflammation. This leads to more skin cells and sebum which blocks the pores and leads to breakouts.
